| We at Lifefirst.coms
Hypnosis and Childbirth Center encourage you all day long
to try hypnosis with your next pregnancy, but we have
chosen to let you hear it from someone who has experienced
both conventional child birthing methods and hypnosis. |

| "I now recommend
childbirth hypnosis to all my friends. If we have any
more children I will definitely use hypnosis once again.
After trying it, I don’t think I could go back to
doing the hospital thing or their choice of medications.
Still don’t believe me? Call Rhonda and try it for
yourself." - Jess Green, mother of four |

My name is Jess
Green.
The terms “labor” and “childbirth”
for many women brings to mind horror stories of pain and
discomfort. Not just theirs, but every story of every
mother they have ever spoken to and their family, neighbors
and friends.
I’ve had four children. Two at the hospital and
two at home. If you ask me which was the best experience,
I’ll stop what I’m doing and tell you hands
down, which was the best. It was actually the last two.
Why two? Let me tell you.
First baby. Induced three and a half weeks early. The
baby started to distress when I started to stress out.
Because of how early the baby was, she didn’t have
time to drop down the birth canal in a gentle natural
way or in other words, in her own time and manor. Hospital
life was no fun either. I went through ten hours of labor
with no drugs and nothing to eat or drink. Because my
water had broken, they confined me to the bed. By the
time I had an epidural I was too tired to do anything.
I would have preferred the baby stay in rather than come
out. Total labor and delivery time was 11 hours and a
7-pound baby. Second baby. Induced again three and a half
weeks early. The doctors had anticipated a rather large
baby. With my small frame they didn’t want to take
the chance of a c-section. The epidural was extremely
painful. This time 11 hours total. Again, because of the
hospital rules, I was confined to bed with nothing to
eat or drink. He was 7 and a half pounds. Does this sound
like a great experience? Again, I thought it could be
better.
Third baby. This pregnancy stressed me out. Just two weeks
after I found out that I was pregnant, my husband broke
both of his thumbs requiring surgery. I had to take on
all of his responsibilities as well as mine. With morning
sickness everyday stress began to take it’s toll.
It was this time that things were going to be different.
I got in touch with Rhonda Carpenter. The only problem
that I could see was that I was in Oregon and she was
in California. She quickly told me that it would be easy.
All I had to do was pick up the phone and call her anytime.
The first thing that she taught me was to get the bad
experiences out of my head. The second was that I had
to learn that everything is “mind over matter”.
If I ever started to feel pain then I could go there and
control my pain. Did it work? YES!!! By the end of this
pregnancy I was calling Rhonda for several short sessions
during the week. They gave me enough energy to keep myself
sane. This baby I carried till my due date. |
