Greetings Readers!

This weeks Got Insight section is about…

Energetic connections with your pets.

It has been a few weeks since I posted here at Got Insight. I have been very busy with podioracket.com and other endeavors so I didn’t want you guys to think I forgot about you.

This weeks got insight is about energetic connections. No, not the kind you find in a best friend or spouse but the kind you find in your pets. As some of you may know I am a huge animal lover. We have 2 blonde labs and 5 cats. Each of there animals is connected to me in different ways.

  • Dash, 17 years old is a solid black long haired cat. He is the old man of the house and everyone knows it. He and I are connected mentally. All I need do is think his name without uttering a word and he comes. See there he is, now.
  • Trouble is a black and brown tabby. He is 16 years old. He only comes around when he wants something or I am unwell. He has a strange peaceful connection with our middle son. It seems they comfort each other.
  • Eban-Rude is a 3 year old black and white huge thing. I got him a few years ago and he has turned into a real character. He is the watch cat. He lets me know usually before the dogs if someone is here. He is also the great hunter of the house. If there is a spider, bug, in the house he is on it. If there is a chipmunk out side it should fear for its life.
  • Finnious is a four year old black and white tuxedo cat. He is my inspiration cat. When I am blogging or writing he is in my lap or next to the keyboard. Ready for a scratch, but he doesn’t come around when I am doing the mundane tasks of running an office or paying bills. Our newest kitten is CII kitty two, I recued him a few months ago from a wet card board box in a parking lot when we had 10 feet of snow on the ground. He is my hellion and he is very attuned to when I don’t feel well. I hope too that he will become a writing kitty like Finnious.
  • Murdock is 8 and is the older lab. He is always by my side and seems to have a keen sense for migraines. Yes that is right. Migraines are one of the debilitating health issues I deal with. But he always seems to know when I am going to get one before I do.
  • His son Bubba is my oldest sons dog and is 3 years old. He lives with us so Bubba has also become my dog too. He reminds me to laugh, to be in joy all the time, and lately he has been reminding me to rest. He won’t take no for an answer (dancing around the room and jumping on the edge of my chair) insisting I go to the bedroom. Weird.

I was not feeling well, last week and listened to Bubba, and in the middle of the afternoon went to take a power nap. I must have felt worse than I realized because I feel into a deep sleep

When I woke up it was to my husband coming home from work. In the bed with me was both dogs, and Finnious, CII, and Trouble. I wish he would have grabbed the camera. They all sensed I was not feeling well and curled up around me while I slept.

I get a lot of joy from my animals. They are a part of the family and a source of inspiration. Ask what is your connection to your pet. Notice their behavior often they will sense something coming before you do. No their behavior. Pet’s behavior is often misunderstood.

Small moments of giving and getting affection from a pet can ground you and help you feel better. It can remind you of the things you have put off or ignored.

Don’t be so quick to get mad at them for trying to show you something you are unaware of.

Until next time Pet your cats, walk your dogs and play with your other pets and watch them as they love you unconditionally.

May we all be as One,

Rhonda R Carpenter
